Build an inspiration library with intent

A simple way to turn saved references into better design conversations.

Inspiration ยท 4 min read

Make inspiration searchable by pattern, platform, audience, and the decision it helps a user make.

Use practical labels

  • Pattern: navigation, pricing, product detail, or form.
  • Context: SaaS, D2C, portfolio, or editorial.
  • Platform: Shopify, Framer, WordPress, or Webflow.
  • Reason: what the example helps a visitor understand or do.

Keep the source

Link to the original page, note the capture date, and keep the context around it. A cropped screenshot is useful for visual language but rarely tells the full interaction story.
