Social Media Posts For CricDost
Planned & designed a month worth of social media posts for CricDost's social media handles on instagram, facebook & twitter
Year :
2020
Industry :
Sports
Client :
Cricdost
Project Duration :
3 weeks

The Brief
CricDost — a cricket scoring & community app — wanted to level up its social media game.
Their challenge?
They had a great product but their social posts weren’t connecting emotionally with fans. My goal was to change that — to create designs that felt like cricket itself: dynamic, bold, and full of movement.
My objective?
To design a series of social media posts that:
Build awareness for the CricDost app
Capture the energy and emotion of cricket lovers
Stay consistent across campaigns and formats (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
Make people stop scrolling — and start downloading
Highlights
Created a 12-post quiz campaign for IPL Season Launch — driving over 30% engagement boost
Designed countdowns, trivia cards, match results, and player features
Collaborated with CricDost marketing team to adapt designs for performance ads
Maintained a modular template system so future updates could be done in minutes

Design Approach
The design direction was built around three keywords: Energetic. Local. Modern.
Color palette borrowed the intensity of stadium lights — bright oranges, deep blues, and vibrant greens.
Typography was bold, often italicized, mimicking the speed of a ball in motion.
I used motion-inspired shapes and overlapping layers to keep every frame alive.
I handled the end-to-end visual design — from concept sketches to final assets:
Designed campaign layouts for match-day engagement
Created typography that reflects the pace and excitement of the game
Integrated player imagery, stats, and CTA placement for brand recall
Aligned with CricDost’s in-app design style for consistency

Takeaway
This project reminded me how powerful visual rhythm can be. Just like cricket has a tempo — your visuals need one too.
When every post moves with energy and intent, the audience feels it.
